Leave this series alone if you aren’t going to do it right!!! Disney-ifying it is so wrong. I’ve waited years for this to be adapted into film or show, this is not it. Shouting into the void with this one I feel, but I’m a little heartbroken. The story is somewhat dark and mystical and gritty, that’s what it needs to stay as PLEASE.

As someone who read all Carole Wilkinson's books (the dragon keeper books) I'm really excited and experienced such a sense of nostalgia seeing this trailer.

I just realized what this movie was! I loved this book series growing up, though my focus was mainly on the next two books, Garden of the Purple Dragon, and Dragon Moon.

I enjoyed this movie tremendously! I love Danzi's design/animation and Bill Nighy's vocal performance. And the music score by Arturo Cardelus is absolutely GORGEOUS!

Seeing this has me excited in ways I can not describe. As a kid my mom got me the dragonkeeper Garden of a purple dragon book as a present from a random garage sale. I instantly fell in love and tried my best to get my hands on the other books. I did manage to read most of the books in the library but never got to own the full series. Even so these books have left such a lasting impression on me and will forever have a special place in my heart

Quite the pleasant surprise to find one my favorite books of a trilogy was made into a movie! Though I can tell the story is gonna be a bit different, but I'm definitely going to go watch this. The animation looks a little janky but fun!

Just went to see dragon keeper at the theater. My 9 year old daughter and I both agreed that this was a much better story and plot than raya and The last dragon. Although I don't understand if this movie is sets in ancient China and was made in cooperation with Chinese production companies, why do most of the actors have European or Australian accents? Hopefully I can find the Chinese version for my Wife and mother-in-law. The animation definitely could have been better but the story was far better than anything Disney has made recently.

Having read the book, i can tell they changed a few things. Mainly, there was only one dragon and one egg.

This book series is so good. I read them in 6th grade, and probably reliston to the audio book atleast once a year. I don't think the movie is going to be very book accurate, but it still looks good.
