I remember my first exposure to Mega Evolution, all the way back in 2013. 3 years before I got my first game, and a few more months after till I got my first Mega.

Had a friend super into Pokemon and he shown me his favorite Pokemon and unsurprisingly it was Lucario. A Mega Lucario. Keep in mind XY had just come out. That Lucario looked so good.

And when he used Aura Sphere it looked as if he became unstoppable for an instant. With the palm to the forehead, the outstretch, then the blue glow? It was sick.

After that year I never saw him again as he returned back to the state he transferred from.

Part of me wishes I got into Pokemon sooner. Thanks to him and that Luca.

Lucario my beloved 😫 Fun Fact, Lucario actually holds an official #2 Placement at the Pokemon World Championships in 2014. Mega Lucario is just that good.

You can call me a dingus if you'd like (I am) but I love special attacking Lucario, even if its just better to have spammable close combat. It deals less overall damage but its still fun
