This video was literally me yesterday at the skincare counter. 😂 The lady recommended things for dark marks and acne prone skin and I said to her okay I will quickly read the ingredients. All of the products had Glycolic Acid as a first ingredient and I said to her "no, it won't work for my skin because, etc etc" I listed the reasons. Then she said no tjays not true and pointed at the packaging to show me where it says it helps for pigmentation and the other one for acne. So I just left it right there.

I love watching but remember not all products with essential oil should be demonized. I have cared for clients for three decades with our products and the results are life changing. he he he, I love this woman! She has great sense of humour! She should be an actress, I found her channel a 5 days ago and I haven’t stop watching the educational videos.
I started using retinol and I was swollen under my eyes and cheeks, and was showing son little dark marks like freckles,
I’ve got Effaclar from La Roche Epossy from the vitrine of farmacy to treat dark marks, and after 2 weeks using I when from swollen to hiper pigmentations, now I got melasma under my eyes it is horrible. My skin became thick and dry and large pore with in two weeks, it is horrible feeling, like touching the nose of a dog.
I am south America with meddle east and italian roots with olive skin. I have been 5 years using organic products, seen I had cancer, I turn to organic cosmetics.
But I saw videos about retinol and I wanted to try on retinol and my face could not take it. It was tingling and red and I thought was normal, but it got swollen.

I have a very sensitive skin that now reacts to every thing, I want to do the treatment for melasma but I am scared to put so many chemicals on my face.
Have any one here use the Ordinary? all the layers are like to much of many different things.
My skin was great before using retinol my only problem was dark eyes, and now looks dry, thick and with dark melasma, I am sad.

Hi Dr V., can you please check out this product? The Method: Body Polish: This product uses Quartz exfoliating crystal to minimize the risk micros cuts or abrasions. The active acid is Salicylic Acid which helps to soften keratin and helps remove the dead surface skin. The warming sensation is due to Zeolite which is a natural mineral.

The other day I was at a skincare store with my mom and they told her that a $56 serum with 2% cetyl tranexamate mesylate was going to help her with sun spots. Right after exiting the store I had to explain her that just using sunscreen properly could help her more than anything 😂😂
