A brave beauty vlogger fought her way back from the bacterial meningitis that caused her to lose 57% of her skin and required all four limbs to be amputated. Kaitlyn Dobrow, 25, from southern California, was a fit, active 18-year-old when she caught the terrifying illness which left her hospitalised for six months - where she underwent 22 surgeries. After going through the ordeal of rehab, Kaitlyn channelled her energies into make-up as one of the few things she felt she could still do with her prosthetics. Kaitlyn is now a successful beauty vlogger and disability rights advocate with 16 million views and 235,000 subscribers on YouTube and more than 132,000 followers on Instagram.

*So no one's gonna talk about how sweet and supportive her brother is and that he literally became her arms? Ok👏🏻*

When her strap fell down and she just cracked up laughing...that just perfectly summed up her personality.

What I learn over the years is: "Be grateful for what you have, than what you don't have". Appreciate the things that you've taken granted for! Don't be ungrateful.

I started crying because I realized that many of us have everything we need in life, and we are still not grateful ... This woman is very brave, positive and big fighter.♥️

“My favorite thing about my sister is her inability to give up.” That’s some life goals right there.

She can do her eyeliner perfectly and she has no limbs. I can’t even put on make up for anything and I have hands. She’s really inspiring.

I cant even begin to imagine how strong this person is.. Acts like nothing happened, just a bad luck and still keeps smiling and spreads good vibes.. People have everything and still feeling miserable and she was abused by life so badly and look at her.. :O Just amazing
