There’s no “perceived” difficulty in developing medtech; the difficulty is very real. 1) the most highly regulated industry 2) very expensive to develop 3) longest time to exit 4) low exit multiples 5) animals die in the process 6) people die in the process 7) very few exit pathways (I’ll pause here)

I can’t wrap my head around the fact this dude started a biotech company with no knowledge of medicine, biomolecular science or even engineering… correct me if I’m wrong but I looked up this guy’s Linked in and it just says « entrepreneur ». I’m just curious as to how one can go from having zero knowledge about a certain topic, to strating a whole business revolving around that same topic.
Btw this is no hate to him, I just seriously want to know how he did it.
