I love that Paul is a fan of guitars - all guitars. Some manufacturers are afraid to say the name of another brand, like no one knows what original brands they're trying to copy. Paul's completely ok with talking about the greatness of Fender and Gibson. Just so happens he created what I consider the "3rd" style/brand. Gibson, Fender, and PRS.

Paul Reed Smith has a great sense of humor and I just don't think anyone gets it. :-)

That he takes the time to bring the reality of his interests in all things guitar and that he likes other people,   takes the grace and sincerity of his production efforts, and quality of build and that he knows that the human identity is very important to being approachable in any venue.   It was him that went to the big name players in the early days to give them the free reign of using his instrument in any avenue of and free and without concern about the next year or 10 years as long as they gave honest and viable information about how it could be used or improved to meet individual needs.   Is he affable yes, is he pretentious...I don't think so.  Does he come across rather aloft and beyond mere mortal existence, only in the sense of dedication of his craft.

I gotta say it, Paul's accent, faces he makes remind me of Michael Keaton, coincidentally they are both from places that are close to each other (MD, PA).

This guy should be the US Press Secretary. "What are your favorite vintage guitars?" - 'Well, let's first talk about what was missing in vintage guitars that we looked to address....'

When did Larry David start making guitars?

You know what it is with vintage guitars? THEY WERE NEW AT THE TIME. Jimmy played an almost NEW Strat. So it is a myth that old is good. A guitar well build is good. Not all of the guitars from yesteryear's are.

Stumped by the non-prs question 😂. He seemed winded after giving that non-answer.

*of course* he's a jerk - where else do you get the sand to think a) your guitars are good enough and b) to take 'em to the stage door and demand that the stars check em out... ??
