#271 Amazing Pour With Elmer's School Glue

Acrylic pouring Elmers glue.
For this three flip cup pour, I used 60% glue, 30% water and 10% floetrol as my pouring medium. I then used 50% of this pouring medium to 50% of my Global impasto paint. If you are using thicker paints like Liquitex Basics, you will need to add more water and if you are using thinner paints, you will need to add more paint to get your mix to the correct consistency.

It seriously could not have turned out to be more beautiful!! Personally, I LOVE the amount of black that showed up in the end result, because I think it grounds everything and provides such gorgeous contrast and depth to the other colors!! I cannot wait to try this. I've never done anything like this. I play with color and textures with fabric, leather, beads, feathers and whatever I can find to glue onto boots. ... So my next media is going to be pouring paint!! This piece reminded me of lichen and, of course, water of the Caribbean! GREAT CHOICE of COLORS!!!! Thank you for this.

I love the black.Thanks so much for the instructions or the recipe for the paint. As you know, this is not a cheap hobby. Plus there is a definite learning curve. Where you are so fricken awesome at is choosing the colors. Rock on young lady!

Just WOW So beautiful. You mentioned you think it was a bit muddy. Well, then it's the perfect amount of muddy. Because I think this is simply GORGEOUS !!! It seems the school glue worked great. TFS

Some of things you pointed out that you didn't like were some of my favorite bits! The painting is gorgeous! Of course, I like the darker (muddier) parts that really off-set the bright colors.

I love watching your painting. I love this one. I love the fact that you talk while working. I have a gallon of School Glue that my Daughter bought to make slime but then didn't and I have used it to do some pours with the Grand Kids and it worked well.
