Finally someone broke this down psychologically. For some reason this case and the Kaitlin Armstrong case didn’t have any real info or expert opinions out there are the psychology of this.
I probably respect John most when he comes out of his calm demeanor and becomes more bold in his tone and body language because he genuinely cares and is upset about these behaviors but also truly passionate about what he does. I love what I do and I get so excited about little biomechanics inventions that excite me so I understand it especially with his compassion. I’ve been watching since day 1 and I remember Dr Babe seeming almost uncomfortable to be on camera at all, he really liked your presence Lauren to help with the flow and direct him, now he’s like “ move out the way I got this!” And I mean that in the best way. You make a great team with your unique talents and I love that you know him enough to know when to prompt or when to not interrupt bc this is gonna be a good tangent. Dr. Babe, thank you for embracing the camera which I know wasn’t likely your cup of tea but we sure appreciate it. Good thing you’re getting more comfortable because you’re going to continue to grow in one direction and have bigger audiences. Still feels like we’re at your kitchen table.

TY for this conversation. It's given insights into some of the questions about this case. I've mostly heard those (including defense attorneys) concerned about a fair trial on social media. This conversation is a much needed balance IMO and I TY. Hidden True Crime is a unique gem in social media.

36:22 "for the police to respond to a domestic call, it takes a fairly significant incident." No it doesn't. That's not true at all. All it takes for police to respond is a 911 call. It takes a significant incident for them to make an arrest, and if there had been any evidence or indication of actual violence, they likely would have.

I've been following the Delphi story from the beginning. Dr. John has brought out so many things I haven't even considered. He's brilliant.
When it comes to stressors I'd like to add here that not long before the murders his daughter married and left the family home. Also his wife's brother, who apparently both Kathy and Richard were both very close to, died.. This brother was taking care of Kathy Allen's mother who was chronically ill. Kathy had to take more responsibility for her mother after her brother died which took her away from home.
