I have a question, so I want to download an app from the Mac App Store and it says I need to update the Mac to 10.15.7 . So My question is, do I need to update my Mac into the Big Sur first?

Is there any way how to download the Big Sur OS without the App Store? The first install messed up my MacBook so I had to roll back to the initial install (Yosemite), and I can’t download it again ;(
