I'm up in Canada and wondered if that plastic would be cold on their feet in the winter.

That's 10k$ worth of plastic right there. I get the design is nice and it lasts long, but you can get a hand crafted, amish built, very steady and beautiful 5 by 6 wooden coop for 2000 dollars. Not worth it in my opinion.
