so one of the characters in the Helluva Boss Animation who was created by Vivziepop, and gets a lot of hate, is Queen Bee or Beelzebub, and since the first time that we saw her, Helluva Boss Season 1 Episode 8, her design was still getting a lot of hate. I'll break it down for you

People don’t understand that being a glutton doesn’t mean just eating a lot. Gluttony is insatiability. It’s overindulgence. Just commonly associated with drinking or eating which makes sense cause her entire song and episode is about getting drunk as hell on beelzejuice and eating cotton candy and oversized food. Just cause you eat a lot doesn’t mean you become overweight. insanely fast metabolisms exist

Yall, the way me and my friend watched it together (my friend is bi) and she actually flustered and her jaw dropped at the sight of Bee. Dude, I was laughing, but her design is actually BEAUTIFUL!

Makes perfect sense to me. Although I didn’t expect Beelzebub's design to look like a humanoid fox with bee characteristics upon first seeing her, it makes sense the design would not have looked appealing as a giant, scary fly monster or a rotting corpse like in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Plus, when I found out from you that Beelzebub was also meant to be designed after circus beast tamers, along with the overall fact all seven of the Deadly Sins resemble different circus acts, that was when they truly helped me realize the creative potential behind them all (including the rings they represent, pun-wise). And although I would have imagined the Sin of Envy to have a different design as well, the takeaway of the Sins' designs altogether was an epic mindblower I am truly grateful for. Vivzie is a true goddess of creativity!

Over indulgence is what gluttony is. People think it’s just to consume food, but when you look at the Song Cotton Candy during the episode. The lyrics “I’m what you want, not what you need.” Is perfectly suitable not just for Levi, but also for Bee. It tackles addiction to drugs and the sweetness of cotton candy which when you consume in massive amounts can have deadly consequences.

I have literally never heard anyone complain about Bee's design. In fact, in my experience, she's one of the most beloved character designs.

I like the design. I like the concept of how she encourages gluttony in others, rather than just being gluttonous herself (because she feeds of the energy), how it's about enjoyment. I like how she's fit because she has a high metabolism, which reinforces why she's gluttonous.
As for fox/bee over fly? I'd say it speaks to Viv's own design preferences. And fits better with the internal theme of Sin's being part of a Circus act, and Bee being representative of the beast-tamer, and the patron sin of the Hellhounds.

"here's the thing, beezlebub is a fictional character" no shit sherlock💀💀💀 nobody who is complaining about her design is trying to argue they want her to look EXACTLY like what the original beezlebub looks like, they're disappointed in how lackluster and all over the place her design is. And how she barely represents the sin of gluttony shes SUPPOSED to be😭
