Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo QUALITY of DIGITAL PHOTOS

In this video I show the two ways on how to transfer digital images from the Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo into your iPhone (smartphone) or your computer.
The two ways to transfer pictures from Instax Mini Evo into iPhone:
#1 Wireless transfer using the Evo App, this only allows to transfer images that have been printed
#2 Transfer via the SD card. You can transfer all images ever taken with the Instax Mini Evo
Then I look in detail at the image quality of the transferred files and I also compare this to an image from the iPhone 13 PRO.

I never had high expectations of the Evo for digital photos, it's not really its main draw, but it's good to see that straight from card you're going to get DECENT photos. In most cases your phone is still going to be the better digital shooter but in a pinch or if you happened to capture a really cool pic with the Evo it's nice to know you have options between print/digital transfer

Thank you for this review! I just have a question. When it comes to the pictures that are saved in the SD card, will the film & lens effect (that is used in the pictures) be visible when viewing the pictures? or will it come out with no film & lens effect?

Great review. Currently have the instax 11 but been wanting something with bluetooth. Stuck between instax mini evo vs Polaroid OneStep+ i‑Type Instant Camera vs Polaroid Now+ i‑Type Instant camera, not sure where to head. Which has the better picture quality, etc?

So its perfect for subject of the photo that are close up. I cant imagine myself taking scenery photos with the camera. I think its perfect for me :))

Hi! Came across your video in Reddit. Just wanna ask if all the pictures that have been taken will be in the SD card and thus could be transferred to a PC/laptop, or just the ones that are printed? Thanks in adv!

This might sound ridiculous but is it possible to take pictures on your iPhone, transfer them to the SD card (via computer) and print them on the Evo at the higher quality? Or will the 12MP on the iPhone pictures not matter because the Evo can't print at the higher quality?

I just want to get the best possible resolution and it looks like the best way is to print directly from the Evo.

Hey I’ve got a question! I was interested in this as a beginner, but tbh I’m not crazy about the Polaroid feature. Are there any other digital cameras that you’re aware of that will shoot with that same like film/retro/ lowery quality vibe but not have the printing stuff? I wanted a similar camera for like selfies and vacations with unique images but I feel like the printing features is not something I’d pay more for. Anything under like 4-500?

I mean the whole point of having a film camera is to capture the nostalgic feel and aesthetic of that gritty and pixelated picture, the evo just adds the convenience of making it a hybrid digital camera so you can choose which pictures you want to print and send to your phone. The point of this camera was by no means to be high quality so idk what you expected lol.

Good video, the quality of wireless transfer is very poor due to compression compared to SD card transfer
