This song is a solemn form of worship. I have special sentimental value for this song as we used to sing it for the church choir. Now as a grown-up mature man, God gave me the wisdom to understand the significance of this song. Especially Melvin Crispell did justice to this song as he sang it wholeheartedly. The fluctuation of Melvin's voice and tune rocks my heart like the big rushing waves of the ocean toward the shore! I cannot count how many times I have listened to Melvin (my name is also Melvin) singing this song. When I hear this song, my heart is soaked with emotion and gratitude towards Yehovah Adonai and His beloved son Yeshua Immanuel my redeemer who demonstrated our heavenly loving living father's grace mercy, and love. I mean, Mav & TRBL Music, Christmas carols have a whole new meaning! They are not just for the season. They are worship to our Risen Saviour. Because of this movement, Christmas, for me, is a time to focus on Jesus - who He is, why He came, why He died, why He rose again, what that means for me, how all of that should affect how I live and relate to other people.

For the past 2 years, the world has been very chaotic and cold. While Christmas for many will not be as joyous as per usual, we are still here. God still wants us here and He'll continue to help us be here and reflect Him.
