Christian Bale isn’t just a good actor, he’s phenomenal. One of my favourites from him is actually The Big Short, to me it showed off the absolute enormity of his range playing this like awkwardly confident guy with aspergers who has to deal with a world of finance that doesn’t make a lick of sense and this like frustration he has to blend in with all those underlying mannerisms.

I grew up watching everything Christian was in, especially, ‘Equilibrium’ and, ‘The Machinist, ’ and I found his acting incredible. He embodies his characters, their mannerisms, capturing the slightest minutia of their voices, getting lost in them, and simply vanishing into a completely different person. The man is brilliant and I wish I could simply have a conversation with him about what acting really is.

The confession scene of Patrick Bateman is one of the best acting I have seen. How he says "I am very sick guy" just chills me
