Labour need to solve the issue of expensive electricity for heat pumps too, it's no good having green electricity if nobody can afford it. We should be incentivising electricity vs gas, the results of REMA need to be accelerated so that even a bad heat pump installation will be cheaper than the status quo of a gas/oil boiler. At the moment the relative price of electric to gas is 4:1. Electric prices need to be decoupled urgently. Bring back onshore wind and energy efficiency too, take the Tories to task on the decisions they made on these.

We must take after France. Nuclear has to be the basis of clean energy. If we truly want to achieve carbon neutrality then we need nuclear as the core of our energy plans.

Sorry, I thought we'd been paying an extra green tax levy on our petrol etc. Should now be plenty of dosh there to save the planet or to invest in affordable energy solutions. We've already paid for it Guv.
