The extra dimming and scrolling screenshots are features I’ve been using third party apps for for years! I’m so happy they’re here now 😍

Yesterday I have got update 1.69gb. A12 is really smooth than before. Font, gesture navig, beautiful notification panel, privacy board which shows exact timeline of camera and location usage by apps, block unnecessary camera, mic usages by apps, digital Clock on lock screen is beautiful, wallpaper based theme, Overall it's good update. And WiFi on/off at notification panel is below Internet.

What would be great personalization wise would be the possibility to setup a diaporama as a wallpaper within a selection of picture of our choice (change home screen or lockscreen or both) at a selected time frame (could be every 6 hours or every day)

Some apps do that today but they are a bit cluncky

Please bring back the option to have cards and Home controls on a long press of the power button. I get that it's now possible to bring up the Assistant this way, but one should be able to CHOOSE which they prefer, instead of having it as all or nothing. This was a feature I used literally every day, and the removal is a regression imo.
The really frustrating thing about this change is that by having the power button only assignable to Assistant, you cause redundancy for anyone running a Pixel with Active Edge; why would I bind a long press of the power button to the assistant if I can use active edge? This design choice makes no sense imo.
Even still, even if you long press for the Assistant, you can bring up the power menu via long press power+volume up. So why again can you not have cards and Home controls there?

I’m using a Moto G Pure and with Android 12 it’s not that bad. It does take a lot more of the battery and makes the phone a bit slower but I don’t mind it much. I am legally blind and when it comes to using my phone it was really difficult because of the colors on my phone and how big I could make certain things, and Android 12 has really made it easier for me to get around on my phone. Loving the bold text now.

1) To control hotspot bandwidth feature is required.
2) Default call recording feature should be there.

Most of these features have been available for a long time on themed skins or through rooting. I am glad however to see the privacy controls (although I doubt they'll be much use) and the larger, more childish UI.

I already have a lot of these features with Samsung UI tbh. lol. but I do really like the roundness of everything.

0:26 to 0:43 are all features from iOS
I know Apple copies many features from Android, but this shows that Apple is far ahead in giving accessibility features for the people who are in need of it! It would be nice if Google also includes these features sooner, rather than later 🙂
