Two things that need review/correction:
1. Rose and Bronze are flipped. Rose is 6deg float not 0deg.
2. The release angle is not “in addition to” the float angle. It is a standalone value.

CB’s site has a good visual on this.

Spot on! Easy Cleats is definitely the way to go.
I ride TIME ATAC pedals, with an almost identical similar clip in system to Crank Brothers . However, the biggest issue is the regular cleats, which release at at 13.17 degrees depending on how you set them up. That's way too much for most folks.
But the EASY cleats release at about 5 degrees -- ideal for ordinary riding and super confidence inspiring in a panic situation.

In fact, I recommend buying the cheapest TIME ATAC 2 model, which comes with the easy cleats, so you can save some money. I find they perform as well as the expensive my ATAC 8 Carbon pedals, with a minimal weight penalty and at a fraction of the price.
Cheers

Thank you so much! This makes sense. I would like assistance in actually how the cleat is positioned on shoe itself. I have the same Five10 shoes you held up at one point. Any chance you have a video on correct setup of how the clear should be positioned on shoe when installed?
