Jerome Powell started out as a breath of fresh air with his own opinions. Now he’s just a talking head and his speeches are a bunch of nonsense. What a joke

So this man earns his salary by reading..? really? he is supposed to be a very educated person who is driving the biggest economy in the world yet he can't speak up. This is a joke. He feels very nervous and it looks like he is lying about the whole economy and he knows what will happen in the nearest future ! interest rates at this level is beyond imagination. it should be at least at 5-7%

Obviously everyone knows the economy can't afford a rate hike even though the banks want to raise them oh so badly. Meanwhile there are at least 20 different serious ways this incresing pile of debt could break under it's own weight with only more QE or global insolvency to fall back on this time. The fed admits they have no idea how to solve without handing the profits, control, and production back over local communities around the world so every county could simply solve it for themselves and base the economy on needs rather than profits. The other option is greater centralized economic and monetary control. I mean, They haven't been encouraging the use of SDRs, the Solar dollar, Bitgold, and other global currency schemes for nothing folks. It's called planting the seed. The inflation is the water, and a another recession or crash will be the fertilizer. The only real question is. . What system will we allow to form while this one slowly comes to its demise and what will its purpose be. . Which is a question we should all be asking ourselves!

There will be plenty of work and "growth" with all of the flood and tornado damage across the country. Hope we can gather enough "manpower" to reconstruct all that needs to be accomplished.

Are the Fed's expectations of no rate hikes this year any more definitive than the expectations the Fed had last September about what was going to happen in the next year? Did the Fed make any guarantees about what will happen next December regardless of any change to the intervening data? No doubt, there is a good chance that conditions will continue to weaken globally. As long as inflation in the US stays under control, there is no reason why the Fed can't remain patient this year. But, an unexpected pickup in American inflation would pose a problem for them.
