LMP`s Montessori Sensory Garden (for children of all abilities)

Outdoor learning in general is good for all of us. Giving this opportunity to a child from a very young age is good for his/hers holistic development. Here at LMP we are creating an outdoor sensory garden that will nurture a child´s all around development. Inspired by Montessori concept the children will get the chance to explore through their senses how nature works, experimenting, language and mathematical development, and Art and crafts.

Sensory experiences are fun but also teach a child how to care for his/hers environment, it enhances child´s large and fine motor skills, social and emotional development.

So many beautiful colors in the garden! I could hear the birds chirping, the bees buzzing, and the sound of summer in the air. My favorite part was to see the big bumble bee on that beautiful purple spiky flower! What was that flower called?
