Amazing island!!! You are so great to climb all mounts and hills! for those rocky paths you need really strong legs, these are not super comfortable paths in the Alps)))

Thank you for making this video. Years ago, my brother and I got a very late start from the gravel road leading up to the mouth of the Idaean Cave (just uphill from the taverna) and we did not reach the summit. It was May and we decided to turn back around 1800 to avoid being on the mountain after dark. We made it as far as the large circular rock shepherds huts on a plateau looking toward the saddle leading to the peak. From that point, the peak still appeared a good distance off, but it also appeared that, had we continued on to the saddle, the path to the top was easier than what we had already climbed. If you are familiar with this route or happened to pass the shepherds huts, how far from the summit were we? Would we have made it in another hour? I've always wondered how close we came to the summit. (We made it back to the tavern shortly after sunset. I hope to return someday and complete it.
