Another very helpful video. I had heard of some of these settings/options but had no idea where or how they were configured. I continue to learn so much about 365 from your channel. Thanks for posting.

How do you delete a folder with subfolders/files without being prompted that there's a hold preventing it because there's a hold?... I've deleted retention and dlp policies and checked in the next day with no luck. The only workaround atm is deleting it via synced windows explorer version of OneDrive

can you recommend me an tutorial where I should see how to
setup an onedrive account, where I have 2 users which are the admin and 3 or 4 users who have only limited access and they have only one folder access, but the admin can see their folder.
Thank you!

How can we enforce onedrive backup service for users? (powershell?)

As for the "only allow syncing for specific domains": very useful setting, but is there any way we can create an exception for certain users ? It seems to be a tenant wide on/off switch.

Hi Andy great videos from you. Do you know if it is possible to force OneDrive usage on your users? Creating some policy to have all documents stored in the cloud? Also you mention that you can create a powerautomate flow for example to save all email attachments to onedrive. Can you do this for all/some select users in your team? Thanks

Hi Andy,

loving the tutorials and are a great help, i was just wondering though, you have mentioned a cpl of times about a 25TB sharepoint storage allocation,
is this only if you have enough licences ? on my active sites i only see 1.75TB,

would be great to have a useable 25TB

thanks

If it's possible, how can we set up a team ( NOT Teams ) shared one drive? It needs to be owned by the group and not by a person and access to it needs to be assigned to and AD or AAD group. I can't find any tutorials because the results come back as though I want to add one drive TO teams ( the application ).

Hi Andy. I haven't see the video yet since I am enjoying my time at the beach. I will check the video later this day. I have a sync issue from SharePoint to OneDrive. From SP there is an option to create a shortcut to OneDrive. But when I try to do this from a site there is an error 'your It admin does not allow to sync this'. Even if I try to sync a folder within the site. I tried to check the permissions but they seems to be fine. Perhaps know what to do? For now greetings from Greece.

Hi - thank you... My OneDrive has started putting items into my desktop pc recycle bin this week (it went crazy a few days ago and its driving me mad) - When I tell One drive via Settings /Choose folders, not to show a particular folder (un-sync that folder), the contents of that folder are also going into my pc recycle bin, which I don't want... I've used MS support but their replies are too techy for me.... I'm going through a few of your videos... but is there a solution to this sudden problem. I like to keep my recycle bin empty to help keep my computer as free as possible but I'm terrified of deleting these files, and I just don't want this happening. Any ideas? x

Hi Andy
First of all its very good there specialist who want to share his knowledge, thank you for that :)

Concerning Onedrive I have one very annoying thing and that is One Drive in a terminal server (Citrix) environment.
We have users who work with a laptop on remote sites and at office via Wyse Terminal. Dont ask why they ain't using there laptop :))
The annoying this is that its not possible (so far I know) to disable synchronisation by policy if logged on the terminal server.

Take care.
