Great race again Phill, solid throughout and a super effort on the long sprint. Onward and upward!

Super sprint finish great numbers. Totally agree peanut M&Ms are where it’s at. Aldi’s as a main shop and Waitrose for treats and speciality items 👍🏻

Great effort on the sprint and you showed good tactical awareness not panicking at about 650m to go when they looked like they were going for it! Also sounds like you had an awesome holiday in Italy too🙂 On a separate topic, where do you see what gear you are in? I’m sure I heard somewhere that it had been implemented on Zwift but I can’t see it on your videos. Also have you ever tried the 11 cassette on Wattbike? Just go into Wattbike Hub settings and select it apparently, most people seem to prefer it over the 22 gears but I’m interested in your thoughts or whether you’d fancy giving it a go if you haven’t already. Thanks for all the great content Phil, really is top notch 👍

PS I would imagine the reason you felt more tired on your mountain ride in Italy and why you would possibly struggle on any other mountain climb is as you say firstly; all your up hill training includes a small downhill respite which can’t be helped due to London having no mountains and Zwift having no really long mountain climbs and secondly; do not underestimate the debilitating effects of riding at higher altitude over a sustained period. Less oxygen to the lungs and blood is no doubt going to effect your performance unless you properly acclimatise.

Great sprint!!! Looks like your overall fitness has improved ie recovering faster in between efforts.
