I hope this is a lesson to game writers. You are given a really important trust when you are writing a continuation to something like the legacy of the Arkham games. A trust that should never ever be taken for granted. Yeah its just videogames, but to some it was really important. People felt those old games. You never truly know if reconning a story will truly be the last time for a character. You saw the three games and the finality of them and were like, "nope! lets bring him back"...like it all meant nothing to anyone because you just...wanted to. With no clear plan. Now, Kevin is gone, and no re-retcon will ever fix your mistake. You could bring the character back with a different voice but it'll never be the same as Kevin and Mark Hamill signing off the right way, years ago. That's dead now. Forever now people will have to mentally block out what has been tarnished. You should have never even touched it. You could have made a suicide squad game that had nothing at all to do with the legacy of Arkham, and Kevin's performance. That would have been fine. But now...your selfish decision...for marketing? is tied to his memory. You broke that trust.

I don't know what's worse. The fact that Batman goes out like a chump under mind control by Harley Quinn of all characters in a terribly forced story, or the fact that Kevin Conroy's other last performance is supposed to be as Thomas Wayne in Caped Crusader. Either way, he unceremoniously gets a bullet to the head...

This man was a legend. In a way he taught us what a true superhero is supposed be like. Not just a person with the cool gadgets and suits but a person who wasn't willing to give up until the very end, a person who is willing to fight for everyone he loved. He was vengeance, He was the knight but he will forever be known as *The Batman*. Rest in peace Mr. Conroy you will be missed.
