Overview of Srimad Bhagavatam | Canto 1st

This discourse on Overiew of Srimad Bhagavatam by His Grace Gauranga Darshan Das (Dean, Bhaktivedanta Vidyapeeth) took place at ISKCON Punjabi Bagh on 1st Oct,2019 for all the Brahmcharis.

In this discourse, he takes the audience into a journey of First Canto, giving a bird's view of the entire canto. He establishes flow, introduced the characters, provide some of his personal insights and takes on various questions towards the end.

Srimad Bhagavatam is a bona fide commentary on the Vedānta-sūtra by the same author, Śrīla Vyāsadeva, and gradually it develops into nine cantos up to the highest state of God realization. It propounds the highest truth for the welfare of all and uproots the threefold miseries. This beautiful Bhāgavatam, compiled by the great sage Vyāsadeva [in his maturity], is sufficient in itself for God realization.

I am truly amazed by this explanation. I have already gone through Bhagavad Gita as it is and it's my intense wish to go through the Srimad Bhagvatam but the price of this is very high for all 18cantos.
