I bought one of these recently for a steal. And so far.. I've replaced the battery (bigger capacity, got 6000mah). I took out the rgb (I know, heresy). And I made a new backplate out of aluminum and tacked on a secondary vapor chamber to the inside of the backplate and it's in contact with the other side of the SoC. Better heat dispersal and better performance overall. Still need to install lineage on it to get that sweet android 14 base.

really great phone so far from the looks and everything. It just needs a headphone jack and it probably would be the best phone for 2018. Also, Android Central most phones still coming out don't have Android Pie yet even some manufacturers haven't even updated some of there phones to it. so likely android pie will come out for more phones in 2019 don't know why you have to comment on razer about that.

No headphone jack but has micro sd card storage so thats a plus! And the juice 4000 mah battery, way better than my samsung s9

I don’t get the freaking out over no headphone jack...phones are all ditching them the further we progress in years. I have a headphone jack and use it maybe once a month...wireless headphones are so much better for on the go.

This phone looks great and has great specs, but I'm not sure why it only has 64GB of internal storage. That's...abysmal at this point.

The thing with launching a phone so late into the year especially a gaming phones is problematic. Especially when the next gen Snapdragon are coming. When the mate 20 launch with a kirin 980 soon, SD 845 will look really dated, when SD 845 is still trying to hit A11 speeds while the 980 is supposed to match a12, also Galaxy S9 have had the 845 for more than half a year right.

Couple that with not launching with the latest Android version, leaves people with deep bewilderment. I get it treble is hard, but when the s10 comes with SD 8150 and android pie, that thing will smoke this, and then soon after the next Xiaomi 🦈 or Asus ROG.

And what about nextbit tech to offload unused apps? Only iOS seem to be doing that now. Maybe Razer should collaborate with another Singapore company, Creative Labs and bring Sxfi tech to more niche audience.
