Selmer Sigma SN/ 92400

Shame on Selmer They made such great horns and this one is exceptional. Very much like the Chorus 80J but with a Nickel-silver mouthpipe and a yellow brass bell. Excellent condition Professional Selmer Paris Bb Trumpet - Sigma Model from 2011. RARE! You can't find these in stores anymore and if you could they sold for $6450.
Key: Bb Finish: Matte Lacquer Bore: .462” Bell Diameter: 4.88” One-piece brace (mouthpiece/bell) Nickel-silver mouthpipe with concave bore Tahitian black mother-of-pearl, flat finger buttons Square-shaped main tuning slide High-precision monel metal valves Top-sprung valves, Nylon valve guide Tuning: by 3rd slide ring and 1st slide thumb hook Two waterkeys
Made in France
This has the mother-of-pearl, flat finger buttons.
L .462" Bore (11.75mm)
Concave bore for great upper register response without sacrificing lower register tone
Lead pipe is Nickel-Silver
Tight dual radius tuning slide
Matte Lacquer Finish. Lacquer is about 75%
Original Selmer Bam Style case no Mpc

This is a great cross over horn - you can get "smoky" but also get it to project and sparkle when needed. The values are smooth and fast - just was you'd expect from Selmer Paris. There are no major/dents or major/dings but there is some lacquer wear in the typical spots - tried show them in the pictures.

That face at 26 seconds 😆😆. Anyways this guy is such a monster on trumpet, it doesn’t even make sense. It’s always nice to see someone like Steve who actually knows what the hell they are doing, has outstanding technique, range, sight reading ability, improvisation ability and a clear understanding of jazz theory and how to apply it. I laugh at other players who try to play jazz, and they spray paint, hoping something good comes out the horn, because they have no clue what the hell to do over the chord changes. Jazz is a language, and it must be practiced and learned correctly, in order to sound like somebody like Steve, or at least close to.

SO TRUE STEVE THE 80 J IS THE DREAM HORN ! IT REMINDS ME OF A SMALLER VERSION OF A HOLTON MF ST - 302 !

Seeing as though every horn you play sounds great I'm starting to think it's just you...
