This video was actually shot almost a year ago, but then lost when my old camera failed. I have only managed to recover about 85% of the footage, which is why the edit is a bit choppy.

I had the exact model as yours. It came with a lot of accessories - a demonstration tape, 4 batteries, microphone with a stand (the plastic stand even had the same Panasonic logo as the one on the cassette recorder's speaker on the top right side), vinyl leather carrying case, and a 2.5mm line recording cable.

I remember owning one like this in 1968. The belts were depleted very quickly not having any money. I disassembled it and replaced the play belt with rubber bands. I think your first idea might be appropriate, it would look good on your desk. The museum director will say it was for playing what the youth of the time referred to as music. It is now used for display purposes only.

With the one that I got, it came with a microphone and a leather bag/holder for it so you could put it over your shoulder and use it just like normal

I have a big bag of cassettes, but nothing to play them on...mostly heavy rock music.
The ac plug is readily available here in England, some computer hardware such as a scanner or printer use that kind.
