P182 Rationalism Reid

Thomas Reid was a rationalist philosopher of the Enlightenment era. He had a straightforward way of thinking and believed that the “mind thinks as the stomach to digests.” He also was one of the first individuals to speculate on a localized brain functions through his idea of faculties of the mind.
