Yes, this really is Prince Charles breakdancing in 1985!

With the news that breakdancing has been proposed for inclusion in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, we know one member of the royal family who'll be pleased.

In rare footage from our royal archive, the Prince of Wales can be seen on the dancefloor with professional breakdancers in 1985. The royal seems reluctant to join in at first, but soon proves he can hold his own on the dancefloor.

His sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, even appear to have picked up a few dancing tips over the years.
