She's following the old Truman formula, one that also worked for Jackie Susann (though for different purposes but with the same determination): Go everywhere, no matter how many people are there, no matter what time you have to be on the radio et al, and get your message out DIRECTLY to the people. Not via the internet, or phone calls, or just a few people - as many people as you can.

Three years ago both myself and my wife were on the Stacey Abrams for VP band wagon. Big bonus is that with Stacey on the ticket it could help flip one and even maybe two of the contested Georgia Senate seats. Would not alienate either the moderates or the progressives and bring out the minority vote.
