Ahhhh I used brown! ok for those who watch me you know I never use brown but in this acrylic pour I had to. a couple of straight pours inspired by the talented Mina Villegas! I love how the gold and copper glow in the dried results of this piece! My piece didn't come out anything like Minas and that's ok...I still love the results.

I am obsessed with the middle of that painting! Wet and dry!! The one side where it’s almost like a V of the turquoise and gold the one side of that V looks like a gorgeous butterfly wing!! From the second you put it down I was like oh please don’t do anything else to it!! That butterfly wing is just so so gorgeous!! Not at all my colors but I love the center part of this painting so much …. Such beautiful movement. I still love your “wrecks” the best because you wreck them nicely and you never OVERDO it … I’ve seen some people who wreck their pours to within an inch of it’s life and I’m like eh too much and once it’s all stretched out there’s SO much going on it’s chaos which don’t get me wrong works sometimes but I just have always loved your “wrecks” the swirls always do so much….. this painting has a lot going on too but I feel like there’s such a dominant dramatic center that the sides which are less dramatic give you eye a place to “rest”… I can’t say enough good things about your paintings. Even the ones with colors I don’t like I somehow end up liking it, you’re just a master!
