DJI Osmo Pocket EXPANSION KIT - 160 Second Tutorial

In this video tutorial, I will show you the most important ways to use the DJI Osmo Pocket Expansion Kit. I start with an unboxing, where you have a Wireless Module, Accessory Mount, and Controller Wheel. Also inside the Expansion Kit is a 32GB microSD card and 3 instructional guides - one for each part of the kit.

The Controller Wheel allows you to move the camera side to side and up and down in a straight, smooth line. It also allows you to switch between normal shooting mode and selfie mode with a press of the button, so you can shoot a vlog without missing anything. The Controller Wheel also allows you to change the shooting mode, from Tilt Locked to Follow to FPV mode.

The Accessory Mount attaches firmly to the Osmo Pocket. You can add certain DJI accessories, as well as GoPro accessories, as seen below:

The Wireless Module allows you to control the Osmo Pocket remotely up to 197 feet away (60 meters) with your cell phone or device. It also acts like a tripod base. You can shoot while charging the Osmo Pocket in the Wireless Module.

That's a cool kit. TBH I rather get some good ND Filters. But to each their own. Great little camera and loving the footage I'm getting out of it.

Useful, but you omitted the function of the right hand button on the control wheel, if you hold it down. This locks the gimbal completely so it stas pointing in the current direction no matter which way you move the handle. You have to try it to realise just how useful that is. Possibly the most useful thing the control wheel does, and the function is not available any other way.

I don't know what I'd do with the wheel, and I don't think I need the wifi adapter. The GoPro mount is nice, but what I really want is a 1/4-20 tripod-type mount, preferably without having to screw together a collection of hardware, one piece of which will always be lost. But don't worry your pretty head about that, DJI. I will gladly give you a little more of my money --

You know, the one you promised in November 2018. Yeah, the one I counted on to get decent audio in the wind. Wind is found outside and the Pocket isn't a particularly wise choice for a studio camera, right?
