I own this exact guitar. It is the only guitar I have ever needed in 30 years.

The scallops weren’t added for vibrato purposes, it’s because Steve felt the square heel deadened those higher notes, so the metal on metal scallop helped those notes ring better.

I agree these are the best guitars in my opinion I have #42 of the green 1987. I'll be buried with that guitar.
