The Azeron Cyborg is actually not a Mouse. It's a "Cat". The counterpart to the Mouse developed at the same time by Xerox. A one handed, left handed keyboard device.

The laser mouse is new to me, but I remember more than 10 years ago I once bought and used a laser keyboard that actually worked, but it was more like a gimmick to me than anything, so I never really used it more than once or twice. I do remember that it would accurately recognize which keys you "pressed" and input the corresponding letter, number, or symbol, and you could type pretty fast with it as well.

The cyborg isn't a mouse replacement it's a keyboard replacement
It allows you to use the joystick as the wasd keys and it frees up your other fingers to do all sorts of buttons and stuff, I was actually really wanting one since most of the time when I play Minecraft I have a ton of hotkeys that I end up forgetting where they are

A really good alternative to the pen mouse would be to just buy a graphics tablet, it doesn't cost much (got mine for 60€) and is definitely worth it if you have a use for it since it's more precise, has pressure sensitivity, programmable buttons and more depending on the specs of the product
