In today's experiment we're seeing if a nation of idiots with max resources can defeat a nation of geniuses with no resources. Who do you think will win? Comment below!

The problem with this is the "intelligence" doesnt apply to strategy, they had planning on the same level as the idiots, if they had scouted for resources then prioritized acquiring them then this wouldve gone differently, but the "geniuses" just walked around like "hurr durr build more tent hehe" while researching technologies with no motivation to actually realize them.

We learned that no matter how smart you are, someone with more resources can still beat you. It's like playing chess with a pigeon; it knocks over all the pieces, poops on the board and then struts around like it won.

if you're rich it doesn't matter how smart or strong you are you can very much still get away with what you're doing

This is actually pretty realistic in my opinion. It's always the idiots who win because they steal stuff from geniuses.

if the war had taken longer to start the geniuses probably would’ve had a solid chance, they managed to get a bit into the resources right before the war and may have gotten some ore soon

My favorite example of this question is the SciCraft guys doing a peaceful mode challenge in Minecraft. They could do more than most easy players could dream of in any mode in a restrictive setting with limited resources.

You should install a mod that prevents corpse looting. Literally ALWAYS the stupid guys win because they steal the strong weapons and armor.
Edit: I know it isn't realistic, but it ruins the concept of the video if the idiots can take the only advantage of the geniuses away. In this game are dragons, so what's up with this "bUt iT isN't ReAliStiC" anyway.

A town with out any wood will sometimes just get some wood. Idk why it happens, or how often. But I've definitely seen towns with 0 wood available make buildings, but not very many.
