Fergie is the exception and evolved with football. Mourinho values physical attributes over technical ability, hence the herd of brontosaurus in the midfield today. With every passing year the physicality gets reduced in football. When you add VAR to the mix next year you'll see more penalties than ever. Mourinhos preference for big physical players is outdated. Man City are proof of that. It's the age of the footballing midget. Where great technical ability beats physically strong players. Mourinhos style of football will just get more and more ineffective with each passing season.

There’s no doubt in my mind that Mourinho’s aim from pre season is to sabotage Manchester United for not giving him what he wanted. He knows exactly what we expect as fans from his first press conference but it is clear he has been going out of his way to says everything possible to ruffle the supports. From writing off our talented youth players, publicly berating our best and most impactful players while constantly praising and playing those he knows are not good enough, refusing to implement positive tactics, his negative press conferences and interviews and his utter disrepair the clubs history and us fans.
Think, when was the last time you actually saw him try and make positive changes in his approach to games and during. He’s definitely trying to do all he can to run the club before he inevitably leaves and the board are allowing this utter disrespect to them, the the clubs history and philosophy, to the players and most importantly, to us fans who are the life of this great club.

I think the fella from Ireland makes a very interesting point. In fact he is probably spot on. If the fans vote with their feet it sends a very clear message to the board and manager and players. United fans could have a say in things. So vote with your feet.
