Chilli Idli Recipe and Sambar Rice Making at Crispy Dosa South Indian Restaurant, Hounslow, London..

✓ CHILLI IDLI BATTER RECIPE:
* Corn Flour
* Plain Flour
* Gram Flour
* Salt
* Black Pepper
* Red Chilli Powder
* Water
* Red Food Colour
Idli pieces are dipped in the above batter & deep fried in vegetable oil.
(Just in case you didn't know: Idli are savoury steamed cakes made with a batter consisting of fermented de-husked black lentils and rice).
The above fried Idli pieces are then added to the below cooked gravy.

* Vegetable Oil
* Chopped Garlic
* Chopped Green Chillies
* Chopped Ginger
* Ghee
* Onion & Capsicum
* Schezwan Sauce (made with Garlic, Ginger and Green Chillies)
* Soya Sauce
* Salt
* Black Pepper
* Sugar
* Chopped Green Coriander
SAMBAR RICE:
* Ghee
* Chopped Tomato
* Grated Fresh Coconut
* Pre-cooked Rice
* Sambar
* Water
* Salt
* Ajinomoto
* Green Coriander
