Per the new update I recommend enabling "Pre-Download Streamed Assets" which is the new way to disable cosmetic streaming.

Most the characters don't load in still for me, but did worked the first time but not the second time. Performance did improved though so thanks for that

found this setting by accident. it finally cured the occasional stutters i got in an elsewhat buttery smooth experience. even though this setting eats up 25GB (no idea why it's way less in this video), it's totally worth it for smoothest gameplay!

Both my PC builds lag extremely bad now with the newest season release. I will give this a try and hope it helps. My old pc is for 1080p gaming and my newest I built 1 month ago for 1440p and streaming should not be lagging but has network issues… thank you for sharing this tip!
