Great workspace! What about getting extra strength earth magnets to attach on the back side, behind the boards? Amazon sells ones shaped as a bar or round ones. You can get the ones marked Strong. I have bought great earth magnets from Lee Valley. You can try there as well. Then your travel magnets would go on the front side and it should hold 😊

It seems the U3419W have a problem on USB-C with macbook. When the macbook is sleep the monitor will keep turn on and off from standby mode.
