This is Jeddah Tower: Building The Tallest Skyscraper In The World. The Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, is expected to be the tallest building in the world, knocking Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa off its throne.

Developed to reflect the country’s prestigious Saudi Vision 2030 plan, the tower is expected to be the world’s first 1 km high building, and the main piece of a development and tourist attraction known as Jeddah Economic City.

The design was created by American architect Adrian Smith, who also designed the current tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa. Although the creator and leader of the project is Saudi Arabian prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.

The larger development, Jeddah Economic City, is one of Saudi Arabia’s flagship megaprojects. And the main goal of the 5.3-million-square-meter development is to create a habitable, economically beneficial and environmentally friendly space.
