Near the General Atomics factory area, one raider at like, level 18 managed to shoot down a Vertibird that later crashed into me. He was using a Pipe Pistol that was doing 22 damage.

The more often I hear the word "Vertibird" the cuter it sounds. "Oh look, a flock of vertibirds" "Yeah... As cute and as suicidal as Disneys Lemmings" 😅

My favorite vertibird encounters usually end in them crashing on top of the Pillars of the Community and destroying the whole cult mid-conversation.

Was on my way to the Castle during my Railroad/Minuteman playthrough, I found myself in an alleyway and came across a dude whose name I forget offering me the charge card. Meanwhile a raiders were shooting at a vertibird just around the corner. As he was talking to me his voice is drowned out cause the vertibird crashed just outside the alley. All I saw was fire and debris for a moment before he finished speaking.

It’s actually surprising how the Gunners (no doubt supplied by the Enclave as a proxy organization) didn’t even have Vertibirds in the first place.

During one of my fo4 runs, during the vertibird ride to the pridwin, the pridwin just disappeared! This caused me to get stuck in a loop of "landing" and falling to my doom. 💀💀💀

I was attacked at my settlement by two Vertibirds at once, I quickly made a couple rocket turrets, and after they were powered up I was immediately landed on by one of the crashing birds, sending my body straight up into the air

I remember running into this encounter next to Big John’s Salvage and I had shot the gunner pilot before they had taken off so it was just sitting their empty at pretty much full health and dogmeat kept attacking it until it eventually blew up. (I sat there watching dogmeat attack it for like 5-10 minutes)

Everyone crashes the mighty Boeing Vertibird-24. Keeping it in the air for 30 seconds is an achievement in and of itself.

That has nothing to do with the Gunners.

Clearly those Brotherhood were landed because they were having issues, because the Gunners, after a moment, suddenly have the damn engine explode.

There isn’t… probably isn’t, a button that says “blow up self” for them to press.

I installed a mod that increases the spawn rates of fractions and spawn npcs. I was downtown with a big squad and I was in a small alley way, two Veritas crashed right in between the alley and then a whole bunch of raiders came charging from the other side.
