Imagine if humanity stayed at the point where electricity was a mystery and decided to remain there...

You could disprove all of science and it still wouldnt give any credence to any Gods existence.

“Uncaused cause” contradicts the premise. If there can be an uncaused cause, then not everything needs a cause.
If some things don’t need a cause, then wouldn’t the most likely uncaused thing be the most basic of energy/matter, and *not* a maximally powerful/knowing being?

To the unscientific mind. The straight beauty of True Science is it's extremely versatile and adaptable and that makes it the most humble and logical approach to all situations. Science is observing things and what things do. Religion is worshipping things. They are very different and only religion requires a faith. CHECK

I worship the god of the gaps. The god of the gaps is my life's purpose. I give myself over to the god of the filthy gaps.

I’m sorry I’m not a scam bot showing someone else’s cleavage in my PFP, but is it OK if I leave a comment anyway?

The argument states god as an uncaused cause this argument doesnt hinge on the universe or the multiverse it hinges on a beginning. What you said is irrelevant you basically just declared the argument as arbitrary because you couldnt debunk it with a bad argument

Used the point about "we do not know, but the science theories are open to be tested and proven wrong" on other videos, theist point out it is all fake / lies and biblical creation is true / fact and you can see the proof. Bt Ask for proof of god / which god / religious creation story it true they get mad...

This is awesome to me. So I've studied the Bible, and I've read ancient atheism to modern atheism it essentially all the same.

The pattern is still the same from ancient times to right now and will be tomorrow.

Some choose to conclude with God. (Genesis 1:1)

Some choose to reject God at all cost.

This is the battle that has been ignited in the ancient past and will continue until the end of human history.

There is nothing new under the sun.

But I concluded Christianity is Superior weather believe it or not.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. ( Acts 16:31).

Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39)

All these universes popped into existence all by themselves.

When we talk of god we are talking about the uncaused cause of everything that exists. So shifting God back is not a problem if the new thing we have learnt about is anything other than the first cause itself.

He just explained nicely how science needs faith as well.

Anyone other than me notice how much Matt waves his hands about? Maybe he is having thoughts that he can't express in words? Maybe he realises how weak his arguments are and reckons that if he waves his hands hard enough people won't notice?

Answers on a postcard, please.

So Matt believes in something that doesn't exist and can't be proved? ANYTHING to avoid God.

JC is not coming, the return of Christianity is. It starts here. The proper understanding that biblical creation is of spiritual nature, not material nature has been discovered. Biblical creation is metaphors for psychological factors not material and is the creation of Adam.

This argument misses the point. To us Christians, God is the radiant sun in light of which we look at everything that is, not an explanation to something science can't yet explain.

The existence of God is no more a scientific argument than saying "Science is the best and only way to acquire truth". They are both fundamental beliefs of which a person can become convinced through evidence, but you can't scientifically prove either because they are not scientific arguments to begin with.

"The Big Bang Theory could be wrong" That's one of the reasons why I don't believe it. We could all be asked to believe something entirely different tomorrow.
