First reaction after all day of testing on stream. Overall I am happy that we get some new changes, but the single-target seems to be a concern for now. AoE is monster.

Meh the cool down reduction play style was actually quite fun. Not sure how this "rework" is an improvement. Feels like they made the whole tree shit so people play with the new asendence form.

I think he misunderstood the new Icefury. It's not supposed to hit 4 targets. It makes frost shock hit 4 targets.

I just want fire to be good again, they removed skybreaker but gives no compensation when many talents were depending on pet uptime (-5% damage taken, +10% dmg on fire, all the bonus on flame shocks, etc).
DRE off Earth shock seems so weak and they should make it a node where you choose if you want it off ES/EQ or lava burst.

The bug for Ascendance is the lava burst is not going to 6 targets, it does not cast 6 flame shocks, just 1 on your main target. I am curious though if how the interaction will be if you Pwave then Ascendance with multiple flame shocks up, of course when Ascendance works as intended.

I think you are misunderstanding the ascendance skill. It applies 1 flame shocks and cast lava burst at up to 6 enemies. It's not intended to do 6 flame shocks. We are still expected to totem for 3-6 (totemic recall) and the hard apply 1-2 others with number six coming from ascendance pop. This talent is working as intended.

My group is pushing M+ keys this season, I have the option to play a BL class, Ele or Mage.. I’ve been an Ele main since wotlk so I’m comfortable on it, but Frost Mage looks hella fun, seems to have the sameish AoE but higher ST? I guess both are top tier and strong options?

BTW chambers didnt buff your mastery by 40% but still the 10% as you can see its at 35% shouldnt i tbe at 65% ?

Without a permanent elemental, our single target feels like a discount mage. At least our AoE is cool and unique. But single target is meeeeh.

Deeply rooted elements is a dead talent now. We don't cast spenders enough to justify such a low proc chance. It would need to be like at least 20% chance to proc when casting Earth shock.
