The peace in Donbass depends entirely on the U$. Basically, the more the U$ provokes Russia by using its newfound pawn of Ukraine against it, the more dysfunctional and small Ukraine will become.

The only question now is will these two regions leave Ukraine with ALL the land they cover or will they decide to give some of it up in order to end this quickly?
