ODM has postponed primaries in Nakuru, Lamu, Kilifi and Mombasa

The orange democratic movement ODM Party is facing a nomination headache with aspirants rejecting the move by the party to carry out popularity surveys as opposed to conducting direct elections. Mombasa gubernatorial aspirant Suleiman Shahbal is the latest ODM aspirant to reject the surveys claiming it is skewed to favour certain candidates. Elsewhere, former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero has opted to run as independent candidate for governor of Homabay after the party handed Homa Bay woman representative Gladys Wanga a direct nomination.

This shahbal should go back to the jubilee, we ODM won't recognize him. Party loyalty, faithfulness, and fidelity will be the number one consideration
