After getting her prayers answered in church, Carrie tries to push her luck with God.

From Season 5 Episode 4 'Holy Mackerel'. After Carrie receives a bonus after a prayer in church, she starts praying for many things (mostly petty). Doug is disgusted but soon "sees the light" and joins in on Carrie's "prayer spree".

Doug, Carrie, I've got good news and bad news. Good news is that thanks to Carrie's prayers, Mrs. Donnelly's hip made a full recovery. Bad news is thanks to Doug's prayers cancelling out Carrie's prayers, she then slipped on a banana peel (God thought a banana peel would be funny) and broke her hip again. It's true though.(With the genie thing.) I hate when people do that. God does want to help you but he also wants us to help ourselves as well. Best to the best of our ability. It's okay to ask for some stuff but we should pray for the important things like hoping someone gets the job they want. Not something like oh. I pray for the new the new couch or something. How come God doesn’t talk to us anymore like before ?? remember back in the day he used to bother people all the time he like wakes a guy up and go like hey go kill your son right now. What happened to him? He doesn’t talk to us anymore. He can clear a lot of things up with a sample 15 minute conference call
