Gary seemed a great guy and I noticed how caring he was with Lucy's kids. Good for her to have a second chance and succeed.

Lucy's ex-husband was Desi R-Nez. Actually, Desi R-Nez had a far more interesting and amazing life. Lucy was the talent. Desi was the brains.

People don't seem to realize that Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were NOT Lucy and Ricky Ricardo. They were both flawed human beings. I thought it was really rotten how
Ball spoke about Desi in later years. She actually called him a "loser." He was not a perfect husband but he was definitely no "loser, "

AI just can’t seem to get the pronunciation of those pesky English words.

00:12 Their own caption: "the funny red hat." (not redhead) FAIL from the start, I love it!

Thanks. Just a few things you can improve on: get the correct pronunciation of the names you cite, Lucy only had one pregnancy on I Love Lucy, credit Lucy's comments about Desi at end of this video, even if slightly paraphrased, as coming from a Barbara Walters interview with Lucy and Gary Morton in the 1970's. This will add credibility to your video. BTW, I loved all the photos and video footage you use, even when they have absolutely nothing to do with the topic.

Would be nice if photos matched story at least in the year.

We all know this. What did Lucy say about Desi AFTER her death?

In that you had that hysterical clip of Arnold Schwarzenegger one of his earliest appearances in other than a bodybuilding performance as Lucy's trainer a part she had specially created for him recognizing his talent; it would have been nice if you included him among those that she helped get started and those that she remained friends and loyal to throughout her life; or don't you really realize she was a constant source of inspiration to him through the years when producers said he was not good enough he did not have what it takes to be star quality: writing him letters of encouragement and advice and then when he did become successful letters of congratulations and pride in how well he was doing and again advice when he expressed his interest to turn his attentions to comedy. They had a long relationship throughout the entirety of her life as with the others you mentioned. I have a friend who was one of Lucy's housekeepers, and she showed pics and things about the REAL Lucille Ball. Not so funny when the camera wasn't on her. To make a long story short she felt entitled to everything because she was a television star. To put it politely, she was a real "female dog" in other words.

Desi last name was pronounced
R Nez
He was was a good man and he truly loved Lucy. The last phone call before he died was to Lucille he wanted to wish her good luck with her new show Life with Lucy.
The phone call ended with an I love you from Lucille.
Even tho they divorced, both Lucy and Desi stayed friends.

What a true celebrity star who gave us so many laughable moments to enjoy life.

For a woman who could act funny so naturally, she was basically humorless in real life. Weird.

She was always afraid that Eythal might be more beautiful than her..

Lucy was such strong willed woman she would not have made arrangements to be buried in Forrest Lawn ( she had thought it all out , when her mother had passed in 1977) it was her greedy daughter who , like a grave robber, broke open her mother's and grandmother's crypts and carried off the remains to Jamestown to attract more tourists, breaking open Lucy's long dead father's grave in the process
