I had just moved to Northern California from New England... and there they were ... the Moody Blues and a whole new life... wow, they have had lasting power... I'm 78 now and all of their songs still touch my heart deeply... those were the days alright!!! So happy to still hear them again and again.

My mom used to play this song in the car on cassette that she taped from the radio. I would look out the window and daydream. Those are good memories.

One of the most underrated tunes of all time! How can you go wrong with the afternoon forever Tuesday?

Yeah, this was recorded in 1967, and it still sounds good 50 plus years later. I doubt if 99% of todays' music will be that way.

I'm listening to this almost 13 years after my dad passed away. Music like this was his gift to me. I can listen to anything ranging from Classical, operatic, original rock, to pop, rap, metal and every single thing in between. My dad taught me to find beauty in all styles...I miss him so much.

Nothing in todays music will ever come close to the Moody Blues, the Stones, the Beatles,
the Temptations, the Fourtops, the Supremes,
Dean Martin,
Frank Senatra,
Tom Jones, and so many more, we could go on and point-out all the great memories of those great voices we could hear back then!
Thanks YouTube for the technology that permits us to go back in time and thanks to those posting these great memories!!

This was one of my dad’s favorite songs. Now that he has recently passed away, all I can think of when I listen to this is him. It’s a bittersweet feeling.
