When it comes to finding a job, it’s important to know that over 70% of employers begin hunting for talent internally and in their immediate networks. This is essentially the hidden job market.

While many jobs are posted online and publicly (thank you salary transparency laws), it doesn’t mean you will have access to those jobs. It’s really about who you know and how you can use those connections to gain access to jobs that are either:

- Posted, but posted for a very short timeframe
- Posted, but have a HUGE applicant pool

Actually I have a question for you about linkedIn groups. So As an expert, I think you can help me go through this confusion that I have,
So you know we get a notification sometimes that admins of such group recommended such post, so how can I viral my post in a group like that so All the members get notified and read that post. Do admins have an option or authority to recommend a post to members.

Are organizations required to post jobs publicly by a regulatory body?

Has anyone had any success getting a response from a recruiter on LinkedIn? I write very specific, succinct, and honest inquiries - and I’ve sent a bunch - even to the recruiter that helped me with the job that I’ve held for the past decade. Not one response to date. Seriously, not one.
