The Life and Times of Lyra McKee

A song about the writer, journalist and activist, Lyra McKee, who died on April 18th 2019.
Her last piece of writing focused on the lack of a peace dividend from the Good Friday Agreement for the so called "Ceasefire Generation." I have used some of her own words in verse three. The legend that Eve cried in the Garden of Eden and when her tears fell on the earth the Easter Lily was formed. (now an emblem of Sinn Feinn). The orange and blue reference is the name of an Orange Order marching tune.
